Unhappy Hit a Deer

I sure could use some advice! Last night on my home from work a deer darted out in front of me and I could not avoid hitting it. I believe it managed to get up and run away? It was very dark and I was really shook up.

Now my question is does Lexus do body work? If not do you have any recommendations before I take it in?

A shook up Sea..

Sorry to hear of your misfortune as well as the deers.
Lexus dealers (at least the ones around here) send their cars out to reputable shops for body work. Word of advice is to find out which bodyshop they take it to and go there yourself. Save some $$$ in the process. Also, before you commit with any bodyshop, ask to see some completed cars that were painted. Once you find a shop that passes the mustard, then you can feel compfortable and leave your Lexus.

PS Never shop for a bodyshop by price alone.

Having body parts precisely replaced and aligned with accuracy is a very difficult task in the body shop business. Most of the time the car will never look right, at least from my experience with a Lexus body shop. Had the hood and front bumper of my prior ES replaced by such a body shop after a pole accident (my fault), and the replaced hood looked slightly crooked and the paint on the bumper was chipping and peeling after a few months (repainted under warranty). Do some shopping around before you settle on one choice. Good luck!
