You may want to check a drain hole at the base of the front pillar and windshield. It is hidden under a formed piece of rubber. It is also under the rear of the hood in the corner with the front fenders. It is a small hole that drains away the water coming off the windshield and if a small piece of debri covers the drain hole the water can back up and possibly find a route into the cabin. These drains are located on both sides of the car (driver and passenger). May not be the problem, but easy to check, if it hasn't already been done.

With the rubberrized backing on the Lexus floor mats, you do not know if there has been water entering the cabin unless you feel under the mats. The last time I washed my car I noticed the front drivers carpet wet when I went to vacuum under the floor mat. I had a small leaf blocking the drain hole on the drivers side. Removed the leaf and have been dry since.
