Has anyone done a manual swap on a GS400/430?

seriously, its prolly easier to swap in a -gte than to try and get the V8 to work with a manual. lots more powa too!!!!

Doc
yeah almost. putting gte swap with manual tranny is easier than manual on v8

JUST IN!-

Toyota crown motor will work and run without ECT and auto transmission, NO speed sensors! YAY!

I think the ecu problem is solved, now i just need the rest.

the crown ecu will work on any 1uz motor, which isn't the 430 i need but since i havent actually bought the car yet its a moot point. Apparently the swap will work with the crown ecu n wire harness. Only there's a few ECT wires that need to be omitted for it to think its in neutral. After that, it should run like normal. I'm not sure it it'll throw any codes or not, as the guy who's helpin me out is actually putting the 1UZ into a supra.
