I took my GS4 for a drive around town on saturday, and i hit some pretty nasty pot holes. My drink was bouncing all over the place, and some coke spilt all over the cupholder, shifter, and heated seats/ECT/VSC buttons . I managed to clean up the mess before anything seriously bad happend. Now i noticed that when i try to open the lid on the cup holder, its sticky (from the coke) and wont open (or sometimes doenst close) is there anyway i can remove the cup holder cover, or the whole cupholder itself? I would like to take it out and clean the mess between the cup holder lid and the shifter cover.

where the hell is the cupholder???? Ive had mine since september and still havent found it. Is it the trap door next to the gear selector? If so, those things suck!

first of all you have to pull out the ash tray. pull it out at an angle, it will come out.

you can then pull out the whole center console. just pull on the two wood trim on the two sides of the shifter. straight up, it will come out. then you can slide out the whole thing. it's easier if you put the car in neutral first

i bet you have the 99-00 model. that sux. from 01 they put some foam on it and it's a lot better now
