Well he says there the same intensity just more yellow. So there not gonna be brighter. If anything since there the same wattage and the bulb is coated it might be a tad dimmer. The only way to get a brighter yellow fog is to up the watts or go with a HID kit which the best option to get brighter fogs. If u up the watts your gonna melt something from all the heat.

yes, correct - i have the oem yellow fogs / xenon hid for headlights ! and yes, they are not more powerful than regular clear halogen bulbs but the yellow light looks more intense-more yellow !
i was thinking to get another japanese bulb - JDM MTEC SUPER YELLOW but they come in 80 w wattage - way too much for fogs ...

Has anyone tried Hiper white 80W bulb from Lextasy.
They claim that it won't burn the stock wiring and I saw it on Ebay for $15.
Just wondering if this is reliable since it's coming from Lextasy instead of some no name vendor.

9005 bulbs will fit good in our 9006 wiring harness. I used to run 9005's when I had clear fogs in them before.
So, him saying that he put in 9005's could be correct.

Romini,
Thanks for that info.
I don't know which company is reliable for their claims for lexus parts.
Do you know of a good 65W bulbs(9006) brand for the yellow fog?
