Whats the deal peoples? Ive been looking for a blk/blk GS4 for the past month and Ive relized that there not easy to come by with low miles. I did find a 1 owner 2000 plat base model with 43k miles no extra options like nak,nav or spoiler. Clean inside out with new tires. The dealer was originaly asking $27500 I got them down to $26k they seem to be holding firm to the $26. What do you guys think of the price?

According to Edmunds.com, you're looking at a "private party" value of roughly $28K for the 2000 GS400 Platinum Edition w/ 43,000 miles. As long as the car is in excellent condition inside and out, I'd consider taking the seller in for $26K if you can't find any other similar GS4 in the area.

The car is excellent inside/out, the only thing is that the front bumper was repainted due to chips and scratches. The car has never been hit. Clean car fax....

I think around 2000 Lexus was only selling about 300 GS400's a month so to find a particular type (platinum) and color combo, and low miles, will be a challenge. If you've found one, go for it.

I posted a few months ago of all the Platinum editions turning up on lots. Leases are up. 26k is a great price at a dealer. I see 24k for higher mileage GS 400s PE and 30k for very low mileage ones. 26k is great, good luck.
U get black pearl emblems, special edition 16" wheels, lighter color wood, and pltinum badges. The people who bought it new got an American Express card as well.
