Default Strut bar for GS300 on eBay??

What do you guys think about this strut bar on eBay? My first impression is that it looks cheap and flimsy but I could be wrong. Anyone out there have one of these?

Talking

It enables you to strut your stuff at car shows!

just kidding, it makes your suspension a bit stiffer by preventing the flexing of your strut towers.

under certain conditions, they might bow in a little bit and the bar prevents that from occurring.

I have it and it does flex which defeats the purpose of the bar. It does look good if painted from that blue color.

I dont have a STB but im planning on getting some real soon. Why go with a cheap no brand, go get yourself a good set of STBs and call it a day.

I am not sure if I should put them on now, do you notice a difference? I have both rear and front.

Had the TRD STB and did not care for the single unit and how the alignment of the vehicle could be affected when removed. This piece is 3 piece unit which certainly is more versatile, but still is no where near as rigid as the TRD unit.
Hint. While one side is installed, take a good sized screwdriver and place it through the hole and bar on the other side half way. Now pry a little and watch this thing flex. I am sure it helps a little, just not as much as the TRD version. Hope that helps.

You will probably have to loosen a fuse/relay box on the passenger side so the unit slids under. Other than that, nothing special. The rear is a bit more involved including cutting the liner.

I have it. Fits great, and does the job. I'm getting the blue posts painted the same color as the car.
