I respect people's dislikes bout the car but i hav one thing to say atop my digital soapbox in the CL forum...YOU PAID TO BUY THIS CAR!!!! i mean rly, i kno not everyone prolly got it wen it was brand new n paid sumwhere between $6K and $20K for their car but most the dislikes on this thread are typical of majority cars with similar features. its not the best car and its hella far from the worse. i came from a '94 Ford Probe. now that had sum dislikes. LOL...i love my creeky steering, my rattling sunroof, my cold as ice(in the winter) and hot as hell(in the summer) heated leather seats. I love how i had to return a tv stand n buy a smaller one from Ikea becua it wuldnt fit in my trunk cuz the back seat wouldnt fold down. I love how my starter randomly went up n i had a chance to be my own lexus tech and saved hella money. i love how i ended up wit my mom's car that i had to fix everythng on cuz after speeding lyk a retard and 100K miles the whole front suspension was lyk donezo. 
. I love how no regular sized adult can fit in the back seat comfortably and how my lowering springs and factory shocks arent fat ppl friendly, that jus means less weight on my back seat i hate passengers anyway (they always complain). i love how wen i make a sharp turn it grips the hell outta the road. I love how wen i come off the line at the light the WRONG way that auto tranny sucks A$$ n i get left by my friend's mazda 6. i love how my car can drive at 130mph+ and not feel lyk its gonna fall apart. i love how VSC sensor wires break super easy wen u r working on ur suspension. LOL...Yea this car has a lot of issues but most cars that are anywhere from 5-11 yrs old do too especially wen driven all the time. either way I FREAKING LOVE MY 1999 GS300!!!!!!! best car ever problems and all
BTW, to the guy who's jack broke on him, a word of advice factory jacks suck but this one is a hell of a lot better than my friend's 8th gen civic factory jack. n one more thing, mods are super easy for this car its jus a fancy toyota, anyone with a brain n sum DIY guts can mod this car rly easy. sorry for my rant. HEHEHEHE

Actually my jack didn't break on me it was the actual jack point specified in the manual for changing a tire. I realize where else I could jack it up; however, the point in the manual should be adequate for changing out a flat. Not being confrontational, im just stating the facts

1) 5 Lexus's in the family... None have a decent seat

4) Very difficult to do any mods or wiring

5) Extremely small and extremely heavy rims
get bigger rims then
6) Very expensive tires
dont get bigger rims then
7) With the lightest foot and a few angry people behind me I still only get 21 mpg.
i got my highest at 23.5 with my Supercharger, AC on blast, fully loaded car.
8) I drove the slowest car in the world for a year when my MAF sensor went out without throwing a code.
9) Tranny cant start in 1st and tiptronic shifts before it would in auto
