Well, just met up with a childhood friend that I haven't seen in 9 years and just so happened he customizes cars for a living. . He offered to modified my doors into lambo doors for next to nothing. Just wanted to see how my CL brothers feel about that. Being price is not an issue, would u do the lambo doors? Too ricey?

i don't think it would look ricey but i don't think it looks good on 4 door cars. on 2 door cars if done right it looks pretty nice sometimes depending on how they did the whole car overall, there is a sc here in Florida with lambo doors and it look hot imo but the gs is long, fat and with the other doors normal and the fronts flying up i don't think it would flow right especially 4 such a clean car as u have...

haha, its funny you ask this b/c just this past week (like 4 days ago), i was talking to a friend of my uncles and he suggested the SAME THING!! the whole time he was talking about it, i just smiled and nodded (its soooooo easy to get through some conversations hehe) but in all honesty, i would NOT do it... if its a 2 dr. car, its a whole different story. but its YOUR car and YOUR decison, and to each his own. if you think its something YOU would like, go for it.

Hmm, that blue GS with the lambo doors, I think it looks goofy because he has TOO MANY things going on in/on the car itself. With me I was thinking of just staying with the clean look, no neons, no weird interior(keeping mine just black inside). I think on some cars it doesn't look right (yeah sometimes the 4 door comes into play) but on others they have lambo doors, neons, funky colors, nasty rims, bodykit doesn't match etc... know what I mean?

 

I agree with blue....on a 4-door sedan...it would look weird....even if you lambo all 4 doors. It'll look better on a 2-door sport car.

For me personally I wouldn't do it.
If you do it, I think it would look best if you have both front and rear doors open the same (don't know if that is a possible conversion).

 

The only way I would do Lambo doors on my car, is If I suicided the rear doors. suicide is where you make the doors swing the opposite way. With just lambos in the fronts, it looks too weird.

 

don't know who posted it but someone a while back posted a beige gs with lambo doors and suicide rear doors and it also looked weird, but man thats just me , dude if u think u can pull it off than go 4 it..

 

Lambo doors on a 4 door anything... Thats just my opinion, but it should be a fact!!!
