Here is the deal. I have a 1997 ls400 with 78000 that I bought a year ago for $17,000. The same dealer has a 1998 gs400 for $16900. I like the ls but I seem to be trying to make it a sports car (lowered it; tuned intake) Do I make the trade plus $1000? Would you..why

i did it !!! i had a 94 LS 400 and i sold it to buy a 99 gs because there is more parts available for the gs rather than the LS you can tailor the gs to better suit your needs

Sounds like you wanna pull the trigger....but be warned, it will cost more than $1,000 in the long run.
