this SRT intake, Carson tuned exhaust and 2800 stall TC really wake up a beast within this car. I used half a tank of gas driving around smoking the 275s off. I got some really puzzled looks from people who hear all the commotion and look, expecting to see a Mustang or Vette, and it's a Lexus. Pretty funny. I also had L-Tuned shocks and H&R springs added for a subtle drop. I really like the Works that Lexus GS3 (Tommy) sold me. Here's a few pics.

Does the TC make a big difference? Hell yeah. It really gets it up in the torque before applying power to the wheels. It really changes the car. I couldn't even chirp the stock 225s, and now I can smoke the 275s. And this is with some loss of low end, in theory, due to the intake. I recommend it to all GS400 owners.

if you want power, this is probably the best mod you can do without going FI. the power is just enormous to the wheels. installation wont' be cheap though, around 6 hours i believe

also, you need to get tranny cooler as well (well at leat highly recommended)

Yes, the install for the TC and cooler was about 4 bills. Well worth it.

Looks great! I also like the drop of the L-Tuned spring. Wish I had those wheels though!

How is normal driving with the TC? I worry about the mod here in Florida when it rains everyday.

Actually, the drop is a little lower than the L-Tuned springs. I went with H&R springs, which is about a 1/2" more of a drop. The shocks are L-Tuned. There's really not much difference in overall drivability unless you get in the trottle heavy. Otherwise it's very near stock feeling.

Gavin: Looking good keep up the good work. All the time you waited is paid off and well worth it. As far as the wheels goes i've been missing them. I really hate driving on stock 16's. How does the carson tuned exhaust sounds like? Maybe you can call me on the weekend over your cellphone the rev the car so i can hear how the exhaust sounds.

wow I envy you..... droppin' a bunch of mod at once..... *droolz* btw I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the wheels.... maybe a Trunk and Roof Spoiler to complete the back. It just looks sort of bare. Otherwise very tastefully done.

Hey Tommy, I'm trying to figure out how post a video file of a WOT launch. I'll get that done and all will hear the roar. I can imagine you miss these wheels. I love them. I've gotten a lot of props from people on them, too.
