Unhappy It's my turn...

QUESTION: What happens when you are doing 60 mph and the truck in front of you runs over a huge piece of plywood.
ANSWER: You get a crushed front bumper, fog light, and door panel....

Here's the scene. I'm doing about 60 mph on the fwy when a Ford F150 truck about 2 cars ahead of me runs over a piece of plywood sitting in the lane. The plywood flings up and floats throught the sky right towards my car... Not having much time to move out of the way, Slam...L-Sportline bumper ruined...No injures but I just had my bumper re-painted 2 months ago...Damn it!

Here are the pics...

LXOGOOD -- I feel for you man!

I think seeing an F-150 on the highway is a curse -- whatever you do, do not be right behind them. My situation involved an F-150's bug guard flying over his truck and into my front bumper.

Glad you didn't swerve and lose control though -- You did the right thing and took the hit. You'll be back on your feet soon enough . Hey, this might be a chance to get some nice things out of your insurance company

Happy to know you're okay though bro!

Default close call

First thing, glad you didn't get hurt. Sometimes people try swerve out of the way and get into a much worse situation.
Second, a good bodyshop will fix you right up.

Yup, the bumper is Urethene, which means it will have to be replaced. I have already called Steve Ganz to order me a new bumper and a new set of fogs on Mon.

The Insurance has already been notified and will check out the car in the next few days...
