I dont mind
I dont mind if people eat in my car as long as you clean up after yourself. My roomate sometimes leaves soda cans and juice bottles in my car, I hate that, but its only a car.

hmm.. i rarely eat food in my car but if theres food in my car its usually fast food and i sneak a french fry here and there but never eat the whole meal in my car. there are two reasons why i try not to eat in my car
1) you can possible drop it and make ur car dirty
2) the smell of food lingers in the car for quite some time.

I am sure other people have different priorities. This is just me.

I let both of them eat in all my cars (Honda, GS300, GS400), and its just fine. Put a napkin on the childs lap and put the ketchup on the fries for them. Like Neo said its just a car, and I think its kinda petty to make a child wait 20-30minutes to eat. Just my opinion (women and children can surely change a man)
I do clean my interior alot though. So I have no issues.

the only one who eats in my car is me. and I'm VERY careful. anyone else can forget about it.
edit - oh, and I once put a girl out of my old Expedition for lighting up a cigarette without asking. Biatch. Her friends were laughin like crazy.

As to the topic, I eat in my car every day but keep it very clean.
I never leave trash from the food because that stinks the car up.
Smoking? NEVER!!! That REALLY stinkifies the car.

Until last year, you were allowed to have open alchohol containers in your car in Texas. (party on wheels )
The Feds told Texas to change the law or the state would loose highway funding. It was changed last summer.
