Default I *may* be selling my GS300

Its been a rough couple of days kicking it around. I love this car. Im sure you all share the same sentiment about your cars that I do about my GS300. I have owned her for 2 1/2 years. My goal was to hit 250K and have the car look like brand new.

I need a large SUV....looking at the Z71 Tahoes. With the baby, we are like a travelling circus whenever we go somewhere. Strollers, bouncers, jumperoos, bags, etc, are a part of our trips. I dont use the Lexus for this. I use my Company car which is a Mitusbishi Outlander. I swear, its like a clown car. I have this car for another year. So heres my dillemma....stick it out for another year, and order a larger company car? I think the Chrysler Pacifica is on the list, as well as the dreaded mini van, or sell the Lexus now and get the Tahoe? I could stick it out, and that way I get to keep the GS300. It would depend on what someone is willing to offer me, I guess.

Anyway, heres the thread in the classified section:

You have one baby and you need a Z71 Tahoe to haul stuff for the 3 of you? I see this a lot lately, something's gone crazy for families these days! Used to be when familes could travel in (then much smaller) Accords! Now they need armored personnel carriers or C130's to go to the grocery store.

Default selling?

I agree with these guys. Lose your baby (car) for only one baby (kid). I don't get it. Our ES300 has been more than enough for the 3 of us. IMO most people get SUV's because it's the latest thing.

Wow, I am looking at the Z71 also. It is difficult I have been at this for about 7 month now. Quite hard to sell the GS. Here is that thread.

Fellas,

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Walk (or in this case drive) a mile in my shoes, and you will see.

Is it a life changing situation? Hardly. Can I survive with my current set up? Yes. Will it be more convienent to lug stuff around with a big SUV? Yes.

Im lucky....im not pressed to sell. I will be getting a new company car next spring, and if I dont sell the GS, then I will choose one thru work.

I guess its a question of convenience for today.
