I have the same problem with limited range on my GS430, I'd love to learn about a fix. My RX300 is the opposite, sometimes I can't believe how far away it works from. Either way, I would love to get one of these remote starters as soon as they make it available. While I'm here posting, I'd also like to take a moment to thank everyone on this website. I've picked up so much info over the months I've been visiting, I would not enjoy my car nearly as much as I do without it. Thanks to all!!

Could they also come out with a system that will boost our key signals(receptions). The receptions on the stock alarm is very poor. I have to stand 25ft from the car in order for the key alarm to work. Purchasing the remote start for me would be pointless because I would have to stand outside my house in order to start the car.

Tommy, the remote start is a stand alone system. However, in about 6 weeks they should have the LuxLink dual stage alarm ready for our cars. It will plug into our factory alarms. I will also write a review on that system too.

25ft? You got it good. Better than me anyway.

Where's the love for the ES? Are they even developing any remote start system for the ES? Nothing worse than gettin into a car that feels like a sauna or an icebox.

The remote start will work on "ANY" Lexus car from my understanding. They did an install on a 1992 LS400 just recently. Keep your eyes open for a GB coming up. It's in the works...

Gee Hameed. Now that you've decided to keep the car, you're going mod crazy again.

My life seemed to come to a crashing halt when I stopped modding the GS for a while. Very depressing.

We only live once, so I figure I need to live and start modding again and get out of this depression!

The price of just the remote start up will start at $299 however the more people we get involved in the GB, the more the price will drop. I'm hoping we get at least 15 buyers if not more.

I do not have a price on the alarm yet. It's still in the works! I do know that the alarm will have the shock sensor which is adjustable, and for $50 more, you can also have the radar warn-away feature too.

Since the remote start will use a valet key with the chip inside it. Will this key then disable the "Must have key chip for car to start" feature that the GS has?

My guess is that you will still need the key to start the car from the steering column. I would think that the valet key input would only be used by the remote system and not "active" all the time. However, clairification on this would be great!
