don't think I agree with that. What it will do is give you a little better ride and fill up the sides of the wheel well a little better
agreed.... however, 45's= meatier tires=rims looks smaller.

first, thanks everyone for the pics!!! these are kind of confirming what I thought, which is that 18s are the way to go. To me personally, when you add up the lighter weight, lower cost of wheels and tires, and the fact that I saw 18s on a M45 when I was shopping and they looked pretty big, and the fact that ANYTHING will look better than my stock 16s....to me all that outweighs the slightly better looks of 19s. Plus I can consider more brands in 18s. The only thing I don't really like is that when you lower the car and get rid of the gap up top, you still have a good bit of gap on the front and back of the wheel. I'd like the gap to be more symmetrical, which is why I asked about a fat 18. That way you get rid of a little bit of the lateral gap as well. Anyway, that's what I'm thinking if anyone give a darn

I agree that's why I've broaden my search and consider 18's as well but if I land into some 19's or even 20's that are reasonably priced I'll still go for it just to keep up with the trend but I think 18's are the most economical and reliable size.

This is a pic of my GS on 18s from a recent meet
18s look good but IMO 20s is the ideal size for the GS........If I had to do it again, i would get 19s with the fat tire setup.

I've been hesitant about getting exhaust because I like the silence inside the cabin; however, I also hesitate about getting tips only.
Hmmm...we'll see.
