I'm interested in buying the wings west 3 piece spoiler and wondering if anyone knows how strong it holds on to the trunk? I know that you need some kind of special tape to attach it to the trunk but I'm afraid that it is easily yanked from the trunk. I live in an apartment and I don't want anybody stealing my spoiler. Thanks.

Fellow lex owner,
Why do you want to use tape over screw/ drill mounting, which cannot be stolen. Is there a big difference in price or looks? If you want the permanant mounted one let know and I'll forward you info on where to purchase it for about $100.

as far as the wings west lip goes, its basically on there with 3m tape...but its heavy duty 5+ lbs double sided mounting tape so as long as its not stolen within the first couple days of installation...that sucker is on there pretty good....nevertheless mounting a drill/screw type wing like psycho1 said is definately more secure
