lots of different mods you can do for the GS, I say def. lower it first with ltuned or JDM shocks/springs.........
HID's - def. go with philips, you can get 4100k or 6000k temps........
4100k will show a blue/white tint of color like the GS factory HID's, a little more light output then the 6000k
6000k will give off a purple/white light output, like the benz,BMW,Audi factory HID's
As for your GPS,FM,etc.... it depends if you would want a more factory or more aftermarket look.
You can go with a single din motorized LCD screen, where the screen would just pop up
or you can go with the new DOUBLE DINS units, I believe DAVEGS4 just got his done. This would have a 7"LCD touchscreeen with NAV,FM,MP3,DVD all built into the dash on the GS
You can also put in a carPC[a little more complaticed to setup and get going but well worth it in the end]. You have alot more flexiblity with this setup
