Default i got new side skirts how do i install them?

do i have to take off the old stock side skirts and put the aftermarket ones on? or do i just put them over the stock ones? i think i might have to take them off i am not too sure because i tried fitting them and the aftermarket ones are a bit small. it wont go over the stock ones without some work....and i might crack the skirts....so....what has everyone else done? ut them over stocks or do it the other way where you take off the stocks and replace them ?

It depends on the skirt. The RMM ones, for example, goes over the stock skirts while the L-Tuned are replacement ones.

As for some L-Tuned install info, check here:

Hey Tim,

for the sides that you have, they will go right over the stock ones. As for them being alittle small, I'm sure when you get it painted and the shop puts it on they will be able to do it with a few guys helping.

you may want to get a buddy to give you a hand while you fit and trim the new skirts, most of the fiberglass need a litle trimming and they will fit nice and snug, just don't rush and have someone give you a hand or take it to a proffessional body shop that specialize in installing body kits
