Default need help,electric problem

i was driving and i drove over a small bump or pot hole and all power shuts off. shut off for about 2 sec and turns back on. been like that for a few days.

anybody know the problem?

have you checked your battery connections???

Nobody in this forum will be able to tell you what the problem is. You'll have to isolate the problem, or take the car to a shop. Intermittent electrical problems can be very challenging. To isolate the problem, you'll first have to identify exactly what systems momentarily lose power. Are you losing all the power, as in the engine, all inside and outside lights, radio, etc.? Or not quite all? If not quite all, then look for a common fuse (that is, common to those systems) and test it. After that, I'd look for common connectors, and reconnect them. That's the best that I can do without further information. I hate to be so general, but that's the nature of electrical problems. Good luck, and if you're unconfortable working with electrical circuits, by all means, take the car to a shop.

found the problem. the power cable was touching the hood. left a big a** hole under the hood

Damn was the battery not bolted down

how did this happen

i know you hit the pothole but i just cant see it happening

wtf?! damn...... lose connection on the battery or what?! it's not supposed to touch anything!

That's odd. I'm surprised you didn't blow a lot fuses while that short engaged.
