I am in the market for a GS3 or GS4 in the 98-00 range... I was going to go for a 1st gen but the 2nd gen has begun to grow on me... I will be making my purchase within the next 6 months...

I need to know what the major differences are between the 2 besides the 300 having a V6 and the 400 having a V8...

Is the 300 still a fast car?? I just dont want to go for a used 300 and end up regretting it because the 400 has more power... Also what problems are there that are specific to each model?? Is there more of an aftermarket performance wise for either car??
