I'm not sure I'd want to do this with fresh paint though.

johnny i would suggest not to cover the car or wax it for 30 to 60 days the paint needs time to cure the sunlight wont speed up the procees any faster rember i just had my TTE lip painted and installed and i was told that the emolients need time to rise to the surface {wut this means i have no idea} but i take my painters word for it
because he has painted cars for the owner of BOULIVA watches and also Thomas Dupont owner of the Dupont Registry magazine so i hope i helped .............................shawn

do it for short trip should be relatively ok just for temporary protection.

but put it on the car for a whole month now that's a big no no

well i put tape on my freshly painted hood and bumper and i came back home from 350 miles trip no problem

bottom line, for short trip it's ok, otherwise put it on for long term that's very idea.

just drive slow, stay far away from cars in front, and pray

the tape is great 4 long trips but if u just painted u'r front than don't put it on....i would c about this net they sell 4 bug control at pepboys or autozone. its a net u place over u'r front bumper that lets u breath and will protect against the bugs...its looks funny but nothing looks funnier than the blue tape coming down the highways....
