Default Is it easy to install a bodykit?

I was just wondering if it is pretty easy to install a aero kit on the GS? Im thinking of ordering the RMM, through there the website. would it be a better idea to have painted, and then installed at the same shop, or take the chance to install it myself?? thanks

first of all you should always test fit a body kit before getting it painted. a lot of times a body kit doesn't fit perfect and you will have to fix it here andt here. getting it painted without fitting that's very bad idea

about the isntall, not necesary hard, but you definitely need to be comfortable about taking off bumper etc...

i agree with rom , u should have the kit test fitted b4 u paint it. mine was fine except 4 the grill but u should test yours...also try some different places like either carson toyota, d-2 autosport, or intensepower.com 2 c if they can get u better prices..good luck..

I would suggest 2 things:

1. Unless you are a compentent body man, take this to the pros for fitting/painting

2. Test fit th kit, take it off paint it, put it back on. Its the only way to get it right. The bumpers (rear especially) have to be manipulated and pulled and that will crack the paint.

Good luck.

I justed bought a kit from DPRsupra and haven't picked it up yet (will pick it up this weekend). I will have it install next week by myself. I don't think it would be too hard a thing to do. I will let you know when I start and finish the project.

I havent priced RMM kits in a long time, but from what I remember that is about the going rate. Remember the RMM comes with a grille as well.
