DSR v2 Roof Spoiler Install

DSR v2 Roof Spoiler Install
I'm having my DSR v2 roof spoiler painted this week and will be installing this weekend. Looking for any tips on the install. I know it has the 3M body tape, but what else should I consider doing during the install so it doesn't become a 'flying wing' when I possibly exceed the legal speed limit ( notice I said possibly ). Any advice on the install is much appreciated.

Actually the DSR v2 I received from Steve did come with a strip of 3M tape on it. I'm thinking of adding some more in strategic locations to give it a secure fit-up ( wouldn't want it come off during a high speed run ). I'll be getting the spoiler back tomorrow and I also have some additional 3M VHB high strength structural tape coming, too.

I installed the DSR v2 with just the 3m industrial strength double sided tape and didn't need to weight it down at all. I didn;t have to use any epoxy either. It's better to let it cure of course but I could not wait. Within an hour of the install I was ripping around on the streets of Chicago and it still is on there as tight as it was when I first installed it. Do be careful though in warmer and more humid climates. I have heard of people losing their roof spoilers due to humid conditions and surfaces being too warm.

Try using Urethane (what people use to seal front windshields).
The great thing is that it will never come off....
