A few days ago, I filled up my gas and went inside to pay and get me and my girlfriend a drink.

Me: "What do you want to drink sweetie?"

My girlfriend: "Diet Coke."

I was afraid she might spill it in my GS, so I got her a bottle of water instead.

Moments later,...........

My girlfriend: "Donald, I said I wanted a Diet Coke."

Me: "You did? Hmm, I thought you said you wanted water. "

Have a good weekend Albert.

Your Friend,

Although I don't own a GS, I do the same thing whenever I go to the local supermarket, Wal-mart, Target, etc. I cringe when I see a shopping cart suddenly appear next to my car when I come out of the store, but most of the time the carts have plastic/rubber protectors at their front bumpers. Still can't trust 'em

I also hate it when I see fingerprints or hand smear prints on any part of my car I always keep a bottle of MG Quik Detailer in the trunk for that.

Donald, thanks for bringing up an interesting topic all of us car enthusiasts can relate to

Thanks

Do you like golf?

I usually practice golf at Edgewater Golf Range (right next to the Hudson River).
If you like golf, let's get-together.

Take care.

Wow...there are alot of weirdos here... I'm one of those jerks who goes out of my way to park reaaall close to those guys that park in the middle of nowhere.....just to be a jerk. I don't look for scratches, before or after I park it. I take great pleasure in DRIVING my car, not checking out to see if it is damaged. If it gets nicked up in a parking lot, there's not much you can do about it, is there? And a GS rarely causes me to turn my head. If it came down to staring at a GS, or a hot babe in a bikini, I'll take the babe. Now the SC430 on the other hand.....

I guess I'm just more mellow in my old age.

I do #1 to a certain extent but I won't go out of my way.

#2 - not worth the time. If it already happened, there is nothing I can do about it. I just check things when I wash the car. If there are too many dings/scratches, then it is time to take care of it. One or two? I can live with it.

#3 - again not worth my time. I like my car. I don't need others to like it.

#4. Dude, you need help.

To me, life's too short. I have enough other stress. Why add to it? I love modding the car and I spend (too much) of my time looking at what's next. The end result is nice but the process is more fun. I can see how some people gets done and then decides to move on to another project.

yeah bro, like the others have said it...

#4 means you need to stop modding your GS, and start spending $$$ on either hookers or beer to get some normal girls really trashed

I do #1 and #2 ALL the time.

I try to park at the end-spot where only one car is next to you. Then as I leave the car, I keep looking back to make sure it's safe.

#3, I don't care about.....talk all you want. I'm not wasting my energy.

#4, dude are you sure you live in NYC? Have you been in Mid-town during a nice summer day during lunch time?
