GS - 2nd Gen (1998-2005) Discussion about the second generation GS300, GS400 and GS430 (1998 - 2005)

Do any of you have pics of any GS with 245-35-20 tires?

That's Dino's car (was 'sblackmale' on old ClubLexus, now AtlBrave on here). He got a body shop to put the Mercedes turn signals on his GS. Last I talked to him though they weren't hooked up yet.

His car's great.

No Problem. I don't have a flash on my digital camera so that's why I was waiting for some sunlight and a clean car

Here is a pic of the front of my GS400. This is the Nitto Nt555's with Chrome Lowenhart LD1's 20x8.5. I have 20x10 in the rear with Nitto NT555's 275/30. I have the H&R 1.4 inch drop. i hope this helps.

Default hey that's my car

I'm still around.....I'll just start ANOTHER NEW THREAD on the blinkers AGAIN

20's ride GOOD, BETTER than you would think!
Took and got speed balanced and had to order some centering rings....got a set but was the wrong size so waiting on some more.......but there is a significant decrease in Braking....but that's about it!
Otherwise they ride BETTER than the 18's I had on my Acura Legend GS.

Do you need those center rings on all the wheels (brands..etc)?

Man...those cars all looking good...especially that black IS in the backround with the same wheel I want to go with...hehe...

Some wheels (usually high end expensive ones like HRE) don't need centering rings because they make 'em for the Lexus axle. Others have a more generic fit and centering rings make them match the axle better for balancing. TireRack does ship centering rings with wheels if needed.

Where I got my wheels (MAS Wheelhouse), they didn't come with centering rings, but I needed them to get them balanced right.

Hey bitkahuna,

Yes, fairly close. I live in Milford, which is about 35 mins away from there. I currently am at school, Kettering Uni (GMI). Maybe we can meet up sometime so I can get a ride that bad boy! Bet your car handles awesome! Did you paint your calipers red?

Mike - I sure as heck don't drive to Michigan once a month! Sorry about that... I fly, so unfortunately can't take ya for a spin.

No, I haven't painted the calipers red. Sounds tempting, but I don't want to get too flashy.

I may be in Southfield Monday/Tuesday, by the way... if interested in getting together to talk wheels, e-mail me at bit_kahuna@yahoo.com.

Thanks.

Hey bit...I will e-mail ya...unfortunetly I have classes both days...20 credit hours...argh...anyway...I asked you about the red calipers because there is a car in the gallery with your wheels. How's the L-tuned exhaust treating you? If I am correct on that too...hehe...
Best Regards
Mike
