Hello,

I am finally ordering my 20's on Monday. I am still debating on whether or not to use 245 or 255 all around...If you have some pics or links...Please advise...These are the following wheels (20x8.5)...covered this once or twice before...sorry...

I have 245-35-20 with toyo t1-s. Its good so far, no rubbing. I dunno about 255's I think it would rub in the front, I'm not sure.

Well...thanks for the info, but I really would like to see the 245 or 255 on a car...anyone have pics...I guess I will probably go with the 245 cause of the stated rubbing issue..., but I still would like pics

Thanks.......

dieselman63, how do they look? Are they wide enough for the car? I was planning on going with a body kit sometime in the distant future...just wanted it to look rigth...u know...cause I can't go with the staggered look with these wheels...thanks again...

Bro, they look just right. Go back to the earlier posts called "20's a bad idea" , I think it was called that, and bitkahuna upload a biege gs with 20's with 245/35/20. When you look at the pic, it looks lowered even though its not. the 245/35 covered the wheelwell pretty good.

I am planning to get the RMM kit with the eibach/blisten combo, some of the people around here all went with 245's, they felt it wouldn't look right with 255's.

yeah bro, thats it. You see the 245/35 gives the illusion of being lowered without actually lowering it. I have people tell me what kind of lowering springs I use even though I didn't lower my car yet.

My brother-in-law (bmw mechanic) was telling me it was like 3-4% bigger than stock so yes it the odometer will be a little off .. better off in a good way. hehheh

I didn't adjust anything. What tires are u going with?
There a only a couple of good tires that has the 245/35 measurement , the rest are 255's

Not absolutely sure about the tires...my friend works at Belle Tire, so he can get me a decent price on tires, but for some reason can't do it for rims?...regardless...I am thinking about going with the Nitto 555 245-35-20...they have a 300AA rating and I know they are a excellent tire from exprience...the run-flat 18inch tires for my last car were like 350, yet the nittos were about 210. They lasted much longer than the stock ones and drove and handled better too...What would u suggest otherwise?...PZeros?

Nittos are pretty good.. I'm not too fond of pzero's or michelins because 2 of my friends had those and they hated them. Right now I just bought Toyos Proxes T1-S and had em for 2 weeks now. They are fantastic and they stick like glue on the road in dry and WET. They have awesome thread pattern. I've heard rave reviews about the toyos. Originally I wanted the Nittos 555 but my guy told me I had to wait 2 weeks for them.. I had no patience and looked around and saw toyos, at first I didn't have much knowlegde about them but my boy bought his first on his GS and it was outstanding.. No vibration and roise noise is minimal. Around my area it went for $303 a tire. My best bet is nitto's or toyo's.

does that gold gs with the 20" rims pictured above belong to bitkahuna? I am very interested in those turn signal lights he has put on his side view mirrors, so if it is his then I can go ahead and ask them about it, or whoever's it is can reply to this post.

Thanks

I like the Nitto's also. I currently have the 245/35/20, I previously had the pzeros 255. They were nice but wore down to quickly and rubbed a bit more than the 245's. I'll try to get some pictures after the rain stops and I get it washed
