Default What could I sale my car for.

I have a 1999 Lexus Gs300 it is black with tan interior. It has 82,000 miles but will be covered by bumper to bumper 3rd party warranty ( I have used it and it was very simple) until 2009 or 136500 miles. It is in good condition. It has 20 inch chrome wheels, rear spoiler, body kit and slotted rotors. It has had the following in the last year. New drivers door lock actuator, new a/c compressor, new brake pads and rotors. Car runs awesome. It is garaged.

are you trying to dump it or get top dollar? what kind of time frame do you have, if you have time to wait you can get top dollar maybe $20,000? peolpe like alot of flash for a little cash, if you wanted to wholesale it just to dump it it probrably would bring $15,000, place an add it the autotrader for what you think its worth and see how many calls you get, if not lower the price. if your in no rush wait and get all the money!

If this helps. My great condition 2000 GS300 platinum edition with 138k miles can't sell for 12k on these boards, and I'm trading it tomorrow for $9,500 to a VW dealer on a new car.

May be apples to apples, but it gives you and idea of high mileage cars.

if you were here id give you $ 9500 for you car in a second, then again you dont pay tax on 9500 wich helps a bit. personally i think your giving your car away, whats at the vw dealer you want so bad?

I am in no hurry, I was hoping to get around 20,000 for it. I have seen that trade in is around 17000 and retail is around 22000. I was hoping to try autotrader for like 20,499.00. Wow 9500 in that top post that seems like it would go higher on ebay. What do you think about $20,000

even at 10k he's making more trading it in, saving on tax, that car should bring 12k on ebay, and no asking 20k for your car is not to much, take your time, some kid with daddy's wallet will pick it up.

I'm actually gonna push for 10k trade tomorrow, which is about 10,600 with the tax savings. I took my OEM 17's and 9006 HID's out and will have them for sale on here soon, so that should bring maybe another 1k or so.

We'll see what happens
