I wouldn't be so upset if they stuck around and told me that they hit my car and gave me their insurance info. .....But ..............by leaving, it makes me think some jealous pickup-driving punk backed his raggedy ***** into my car on purpose, laughed about how much damaged was done, and squealed off!

in the state of texas if you hit someone on privet property is 30 % their fault just for being there. my wife hit a car and stopped. the ins man came out and told us next time it happend to just leave..because the cops could not do anything because of privet property.it is there word vs mine.i dont know if i could do this to someone though it is kind of chicken s***. i would be pissed if someone did it to me. so even if you find them i dont think you will have a case. all he has to say is someone hit me. but depending on what state you live in it could be diffrent

damn!! sorry to hear. after you get your ride back from the shop, don't drive until EOS. luckily, it didnt' damage your carbon fiber hood. i had the same bad luck on two of my cars last year throughout the whole year.

update on my process folks...
My car was going in for paint anyways so now it gets almost a whole new makeover with fresh paint. and mods
The appraiser is going to take a look at it today and it will be in the shop by next week. Im not really too upset now....why? because the damage is basically paying for the new paint I would have got anyways....minus the 500 deductible from my ins of course....
