I am so sorry to hear about this.

Some kids once shot BB guns at my IS300 a few years ago so I understand what you are going through.

I hope it goes well.

if i were you, i'd bring all my friends to my work parking lot to look for the car that did that. looking at the pic, it might be a pick-up truck or SUV with a metal bumper since it didn't look like there was paint transfer to your dent. also, it's pretty high up, so i doubt a coupe or sedan would be able to reach that height with their bumper. (don't forget to put old vehicles with new bumpers on your "suspicious" list).

good luck. it'll all work out eventually.

Well done, detective. Yes, I was wondering how the car could have been hit that way. Looks like a high rear pickup bumper hit the car as they were backing out or something.

Time to look for black paint on a pickup bumper!

really sorry to hear about this man, this totally sux.

like they mentioned above, it looks like a high bumper hit. I could see it being the left rear of a bumper, but also, it could possibly be the front left if you were 'backed' into a parking spot. You know the deal, big SUV, pulling into a tight spot, has to swing wide to get in the spot and the front left bumper tags the car.

really glad your carbon fiber hood is OK!!!!

Hey Panda, I'm sorry to see your car damaged. And it's not cool that they just drove away without so much as a note.

But it could have been much worse. It might be hard to imagine now, but I speak from experience, fenders are easy to replace. I know, I've had 4 front left fenders on my car. Let's look at the positive side... It's good you didn't have your big wheels on, he might have damaged one of those. And he didn't even touch your headlight.

Get her fixed up and she'll be as good, or better, that new.

thanks for the kind words guys, I really need them at this point....sigh....

you guys dont see it but the car actually hit my headlight too...there is a big white scuff mark on my lens... the scuff is actually pretty deep... and Im not completely sure but I think there is a hairline crack in my housing... if so...i could always seal it up but there will be moisture issues in the future im sure. so replacing it would be in my best interest...who knows? .. anywho insurance will take over at this point and I will be damned if I let this get to me...by EOS i WILL have my car back to pristine order.
