If you've got hazy lenses I feel bad for you son...
ok so, this is probably the wrong place for this, but i wanted to share.
also, i know this is constantly brought up, but im pretty enthusiastic about this, so i just had to.
I have a 98, and the lenses were SO hazy on the outside. I tried three stage grit based products to "sand" the lenses, some cleaners, and nothing worked
I have since found some Scratch X from meguiars....a recomendation I found on cl
Let me tell you guys, for $8 its amazing. Go get some right now =).
It got rid of all of the haziness and made them look a whole lot newer. At night the HIDs shine so much clearer now and dont just light up the haze on the lense.
so yeah, its good, go get some if you are unhappy with the condition of your lenses.

I had an accident last yr on an Accord and the left lenses was replaced and now I noticed the light from the left side reflected off other car's bumpers much stronger than the right side. I was thinking maybe the right lenses are dirtier or the left needs to be adjusted to point downward more.
Anyway, I got scratch X also but never thought it can clean it up like new. I'll give it a try first. If that dont work then I'll adjust the light level.

I was waiting for someeeoonnee to drop that. Or else I'd have to do it myself. haha
The stuff doesn't make it look like new new...but it does a great job.

Last night I did a test to see whether Meguiar's Scratch X cleaned the haze in the lenses any better than the Novus Plastic Polish (the best, if not one of the best) three stage system I currently use.
Applied Scratch X to one lens, Novus to the other. Turned the HID's on. Both products performed equally well. The Scratch X didn't do any better or worse job than the Novus. Unfortunately, I can't get rid of all the haze in my lenses because some of it is on the inside.
In conclusion, you can buy three stage Novus or Meguiar's Scratch X for $8; both perform equally well. However, you may be able to use the Meguiar's product for applications other than plastic cleansing.

not sure if you guys know but meguiars a product specifically made for plastic restoration. Its called PLASTX.. it works pretty well. But the sucky part is you have to reapply after rain/washing. I hate the marks on the inside though.. GRRRRR..
