Sounds great, too! I had the honor of being Dave's passenger down to NOPI.

Dave, you need to show the awesome head unit too!

Thanks Bit (and everyone else!). Head unit isn't new from my last writeup so I didn't include it here

NICE JOB !! damn, thats exactly what I want , nice setup with use of trunk space ! Let me ask you, the judges were more interested in cars with wild colors, 15 tvs, wild interiors, etc. instead of the actual quality of the mod? Thats what I noticed when TLW and I were at Nopi.

That's sure what it seemed like to me, at least for the 'mild' category.

Man that setup is sweet. I was just at a shop this weekend wanting the same exact setup. 10w7 same amps and the same headunit. I didnt want to get rid of my UGO STb either. How does it sound? Q wise? Does it hit all the notes well or just SPL? Sooner or latter since you hit rock bottom and you will be parting everything out soon put me on your list of buyers

Thumbs up

nice setup... i'm a JL Audio fan too. i'm SO GLAD i made it a priority to keep my spare in tact and had them build the amp rack, crossover rack, etc. to sit on top of the spare since I NEEDED it for my blowout yesterday! =(

I'm thinking about porting through the rear deck also...

How does the sound compare to a reg set-up in the trunk?

Dave, lemme say from an Audio guy, that is an awesome set up. Straight up clean, lighting is awesome, everything is sooo clean!

Heres your fix on the alternator whine: Your power wire runs through the little wire grooves, instead of doing that run it through the middle of the car therefore not running side by side with the speaker/interconnects.

I had the same alternator whine, and It was fixed with that modification. If you need, I can tell you exactly how to route it through the middle without ripping your whole interior apart.

Awesome car, my all time fav GS!

And that is just plain sick how you kept the rear STB, didnt even notice it until i read the whole post.
