I am afraid.....really afraid.

On another note, the width of your wheels don't determine the depth of your lips. It's your offset and the shape of your wheel center that matters. This misconception must be cleared.

For example a 19x10 +24 rim (what I have) will have a very similar depth lip as a 19x11 +49 rim..... Your rim will just get "deeper" into the car as it gets wider with smaller offsets, until it hits the coilovers....haha.

Now, if you get a 19x11 +24 rim instead, we are talking a whole different ballgame (but you will need super stretched tires or wide flares just to fit those rims into your GS hehehehe).....

Front lip will be 2" on a 255/30/20
Rear will be 3.5" lip on the 305/25/20...........most of the width thats being added will be going inward not outward.

This will require a few mods to fit, and should fit without rubbing issues over and above what we all deal with....and yes, the car will sitting nice and low.

The fender will be trimmed, no more than what it was on my black GS though...which was nothing major. I trimmed the fender lip to the point where the spot welds are that hold the two seams of sheet metal together, ez to do with a dremmel or a cutting wheel...no biggy. There are a few other slight modifications that need to be done to make this offset wheel work, but once again, nothing major. Keep in mind, this is what I was told.....I geuss I will know for sure when I get them on the car....hopefully within the next 4 weeks.

As far as the wheels IM going with..............Dayton wire wheels, gold spokes, chrome lips!!!

bling bling baby...........the switches will be on there next.
if you area familiar with hre stuff, you can already know half way what jeff is getting

This is what I was waiting for, the technical info! LOL Sounds like some 20x9 and 20x11 action coming soon. Also a 3.5" lip on a 3pc wheel is pretty good. The higher inherent offsets of the GS really limit lip sizes on 3pc wheels (ones that dont have really curved spokes at least). I remember last year when Bob was talking about changing his barrels to get a 20x11, he was still going to be stuck with a 3" lip. (exactly what jtanoyo was pointing out)

I'm really loving all of these new weird tire sizes that are being introduced as well, 245/30, 255/30, 285/25, etc etc.

I bet your gonna run some of those freaky offsets too maybe low to mid 30s up front and mid to high 30s out back?

Good luck with the project.
