Default GS? flat spots after sitting for a day or two

Does anyone notice flat spots on tires after your GS has sat a day or two. My prior tires felt wierd(bumpy )for a few miles after sitting still for a while. I thought I remembered hearing it has to do with the weight of a GS. I don't notice as much with new tires.
Anybody else notice this?

That can happen with any car. It mostly depends on the performance rating of the tires. On my heavy Acura, on stock tires I would never get flat spots, even after it sitting for close to a month, but my dad has problems on his little old BMW with flat spots when it sits for a few days. Weight doesn't help but it happens on smaller cars too.

It happens on mine all the time, moreso with my S03s than with my Pirrelli's.

Yes, I notice this, and yes, it depends on tire profile, tire brand, and tire wear.

My Dunlop SP9000s on 19s with 13K on them have almost no flat spot even if the car is left for a week, but the original Bridgestone Potenzas on the stock 17s and even my Toyo T1S's I had on 18s used to get bad flat spots which would take about a mile of driving to flatten out.

Sure, usually. Just drive the car and as the tires warm up they should become 'round' again.

I have the exact same problem with my S03's. It hapens all the time. Even sitting overnight causes it on my car.

The way the car feels is as if the wheels need to be balanced. I get this mild vibration in the steering wheel, but it clears up soon enough. It's annoying though............

Do lower profile tires make this prob better or worse. My stock 16inch GT+4s did this bigtime. GS-d3s are not as bad.

Yup, vibration for a while that goes away once the tires warm up. It's strange that the S03's would do it because they have about the stiffest sidewall out there.

In my experience, lower profile tires will be worse all else being equal (which it never is ).

But as I mentioned, my 19s aren't as bad as my higher profile 18s were. But the sidewalls on 16s is HUGE which can mask the flat spot feeling.

wait im kind of confuse here, so do the tires really loose air? coz i notice after not driving a day or so my tires will loose psi. i think i have a nail or something but then that cant be, low profile + nail surely would have puncture the rim like what happened to RMMGS4

No, flat spots are just the rubber changing shape a little due to sitting in one position for a period of time. Yeah, you probably do have a nail if the air is seeping out slowly, and its rare for a nail to actually puncture a wheel.

No- it's not from loss of air(although the lower the pressure the more likely)

What happened to the RMMGS4?
