Default Aftermarket Mufflers

so I'm looking at exhausts and it doesn't look like any of the full exhaust systems add much hp/tq. I can't justify spending $800+ on minimal gains if any, certainly not anything I will be able to tell on the butt dyno. Then I see Darius2004's thread of his new mufflers. and its got me curious. Exhausts I've bought before were made for the specific vehicle so they were simple bolt-ons. Adding a muffler would require welding I presume. and after welding the pipes how about the hangers? do you have to fabricate your own hangers?

also its hard to imagine any sort of piping that would make the 2jz sound like a fart can but will the muffler add on sound bad? or will you hardly be able to tell.

Go to Magnaflows website. They sell ss mufflers with tips already welded on. They look great and then you would just need to get them put on. A lot cheaper and might be a route I am going to go with.
