Hi,
This is my first visit. I have a 2004 GS300 and according to my dealership that I would need to bring in the car for service every 5K miles. I'm scheduled to bring it @ 10K miles and it will cost me about $250-$350, is this right?, if so, should I take my car to the dealer or take it outside for cheaper service fees?
Also, what are the services include for the 10K miles and for the 15K miles? Please help, thank you.

Typical Lexus Dealer Experience -
Don't let them do that to you - make them follow the owners manual. Be VERY careful at the 15K where they will try to sock you with a 30K service. FOLLOW the owners manual. If they give you a hard time, go to a different dealer.
Also, skip the tire rotations.... for the simple fact that the for the added service life you get out of them you easily pay for a set of tires. I think my dealer gets $40 for the service and they want to do it every 5K. So let's say that extended your service life by 10,000 miles (40K instead of 30K). You would pay $240 for those 10K miles. Not worth it.
Kudos to BMW for being up front with this - one of the only car companies to not recommend tire rotations.
