Kazz Sports Mercedes Grill?
Just curious, (posting this for a friend) my freind just got his mercedes grill in the mail, and he wanted to know if they are plastic(cause his is
) and it has black mesh behind the grill?
He is really pissed, for spending almost 500.bucks for a peice of plastic, it's advertised as BILLET!! WTF!!!!!

Did you buy it from Kazz directly or did you get it off some auction places?
I've heard stories from sellers on Ebay and Yahoo.jp that advertise something and then actually sending off something else. I seriously hope your friend wasn't getting jeeped....

Does someone on this board have this type of grill that can vouch for the quality. BTW it came in a KAZZ-sports box(but that doesnt mean anything)

Actually, bro. I just looked at Kazz Sport's official website. The benz grill is in fact ABS plastic. It said so on the site. Maybe they should have changed the information to "billet-style" Benz grill or something.

I think even in ABS plastic, it still looks pretty nice. So the quality is like the chrome plastic shifter surround, i presume? It's all good, put it on and I think your buddy will be the only second or third guy here on CL with that grill!!!

and return it? from what i have heard so far (and too many times already), getting them to reply emails is already a pain

the thing weighs less than the OEM grill, which I really dont think it should. I told him, "if it was my grill i think I would put it on anyway, it looks nice." my bud's not really into car modification, he just got his 430, and I guess is learnig the hard way.
