removal of the rear bumper is very simple.. i have done it about 3 times min...

all you need is a 10mm socket , 10mmm very deep socket for inside the trunk area, you need a 12-18 extention to reach the 10mm bolt right behind the rear wheels and the rest is self explanatory

johnny , if you need help give me a ring at that time , no problem bro

Default I'm stuck please help!

Hi guys,
In a attempt to fix a dent (hit while the car was parked with no notes whatsoever...) on my rear bumper, I put a search for this topic and found a simple intruction on how to remove a rear bumper. Here's what I did:
1) Removed the trunk floormat.
2) There is a plastic center piece, which is inside the trunk right infront of the bumper. This piece is attached to the metal frame by plastic clips. I removed these clips and pull the plastic piece out.
3) Right infront of the bumper, inside the trunk, there are 4 nuts (10 mm). I untorqued them.
4) From underneath the car looking up, there are 4 screws (10 mm) and 2 clips that are holding the bumper taps to the car's body. I removed all of them.
5) Deep inside the bumper and up in the corner where the bumper meets the car body, right behind the rear wheels, there is a screw (10 mm) coming into a YELLOW CLIP (1 on each side of the car). You'd need an extended rachet to get to it. I removed it as well.
5) Inside the trunk, on the 2 sides, behind the carpet liner, there are 1 bolt, 1 black plastic clip, and the aformentioned YELLOW CLIP. I removed the bolt. I tried to push both clips down but couldn't. It seemed the black clip would go down pretty easy if I compress the taps that are holding it in place. However, the YELLOW CLIP wouldn't move no matter how hard I pushed it down, which prevents the black clip to move.

I'm stuck. I went out side of the car and try to pull the bumper down, sideway... Nothing happened. It seemed there's hole on the edge of the bumper (where the bumper side meets the car body), which is being buttoned down by the YELLOW CLIP.
Is there another clip or bolt, screw somewhere that I did get to? If not what should I do. I didn't want to break something...I'm sure somebody has done this before. Please help!!!
Thanks.
