Sorry to hear that.

Maybe you should build a skid plate ?

Then you wouldn't have to angle up driveways and clip the curb.

Damn bro, sorry to hear this... I remember when I had just has my Veilside BodyKit painted & installed and within one week, I backed into a small pole which I didn't see. It left a nice size chunk of fiberglass laying on the ground. Had to spend another $300 to fix that mess...

Hopefully the bodykit is not cracked. Just may need to be re-adjusted...

how can that help if he hits a curb on the side? i was hinking this is more like how the side of your front end got damaged? i can see how the plate helps when you go up a very steep driveway though.

Sorry to hear Gamma. Did you get a chance to do further examination? How bad is it? Hopefully not too much.

yeah i agree. i hope if it's just some cracks or so they are relatively easy to do. if the holes and latches on the bumper are broken, those are a lot harder to fix, and it will cost more, coz' those are what determines the fitment of the kit on the car

keep us posted, maybe some pics too

I see what you are saying, I guess I am thinking more of hitting the curb side from going up the driveway at a steep angle, because you get close to the curb side when you drive up that way. From gamma's description, that's what it sounded like what he did.

I agree if you are just banging the side of the curb when you are parked parallel to it, the skid plate has no use.

Sorry to hear about your mishap.

I also messed up my bodykit above the left tail pipe with a nice size crack from a very steep driveway. Fixing it is no fun

Thanx everybody. No cracks but I got paint chips inside the fender well. I didnt hit it will parallel parking. I was backing out of a driveway that was uneven and crooked coming in was easy backing out messed me up. U have to do all these manuvers to keep from scraping. I was backing out with the wheel turn all the way to get one of the front wheels on the ground so I could get some clearance. Then when the other wheel came down there was a little of the bumper hanging and it clipped the curb. Whats weird is the 2 bolts that hold the bumper to the fender are bent from the movement. It looks like all the shape has to do is take the bumper off and hammer the pulled holes into place and remount the bumper. Then treat those chips with some toughup paint to keep from spreading. You cant see them since there in the fender well.
