Toyota Japan Voice/Nac Microphone Kit
This site is offering an add-on to add voice recognition to a gs300/400 with NAV. Has anyone done this mod already, or does anyone have any information about it?

It would appear that this is the Japanese part that enables voice recognition on our Gs's. Since our software is the same as all those ls's and sc's that have voice recognition, it would only stand to reason that this would work. how hard is it going to be for me to retrofit?
I have a 98 GS with NAV. Pearl White. 135k
I called the website directly , and they said to post here to find out information on how to, and if it had to do.

This will not work for the GS. It will work for some toyota models including the Sequoia, Matrix and the Solara.
The unit is a microphone and switch (simplified off course
) that plugs into the back of those models to give you the ability to speak commands into the nav.
