Default Are these L-tuned sides

This is a 2000 plat. GS400. Do these cars come with L-tuned sides stock and is that what these are?

GS400's do NOT come with L-tuned sides stock. The side skirts on the car above are NOT L-tuned, but just the stock side skirts.

Here are two pics of my car with the L-tuned sides:

thanks- sometimes the L-tuned sides look more sublte than others. I guess dark cars kind of hide them. They really stand out on yours Hameed. I'm trying to decide if they will look stupid on my stock GS.

I don't think they will look stupid. The 2nd gen GS is a classic and the L-tuned sides look very good, so there is no way your car will look stupid. I would call it a "work in progress".

Not that you have to trust their judgement, but the L-Tuned team went only with skirts on the car. If you look at pics of all the L-Tuned cars, it has stock front and rear bumpers with the L-Tuned sideskirts.

I hope so, I just ordered them from Darrel. Couldn't pass that price, even at $350 painted my color.

Any hidden attach points or double sided tape involved? Are they just as solid as stock once mounted?
Thanks

Also got mine from D. Diller. New clips come with the skirts. Toughest part of the install is removing the old skirts and the old clips. Very solid once installed.

Did mine in 100 degree Florida heat so it sucked. Took around 1 hr to remove old skirts and probably 20 minutes to put the new ones on and put back on the other bits that had to be removed/reinstalled.

No worries. You will need an allen wrench to remove the front and rear body pieces for installation.

Ask us if you get stuck on anything when you go to install.

Just curious, did any of the Sport Design , Platinum or L-tune GSes come factory with these sides?

There was never an L-Tuned GS. It was a dealer option package. Many dealers did not even want to deal with their own L-Tuned division. Some, however, did and did package up the L-Tuned components so that you can buy an "L-Tuned" edition. These did have the L-Tuned skirts. No other package did.
