Hi all. I was looking to get an idea of what people experienced with 20x10 wheels. This is the wheel I'm trying to put on the rear of my GS. I have heard so many mixed opinions, it's actually making me sick.

Does anyone have 20x10 in the rear? If so, what tire size did you use? I was strongly advised to use a 275/30-20 tire for the rear instead of the 285/30-20. This was the advice provided by DAZZ Motorsport, however, EVERY single hooked up GS I've seen in NJ had 285/30-20. The 285/30-20 is also the tire I want to use. Also, did nay of you experience problems with a 20x10? If so, what were they. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info Ted.

My Volk Racing AV3's were repolished. They are in perfect condition looking just as they did when I took them out of the box. I am getting ready to put them up for sale soon. For anyone interested, please email me at mariusz@lexuscreations.com I'll accept a first reasonable offer.

I''m currently waiting for 20x9 and 20x10 Lowenhart BR5's

Ted 920,

How are your H&R Springs? Do you have problems scraping going over bumps and going up driveways? Thanks for any info.

I'm running 20x8.5 in the front and 20x10 in the rear Lowenhart Ld1's Chrome. I use the Nitto NT555's 245/35 in the front and 275/30 in the rear with the H&R drop. Honestly, I have no problems at all. None with rubbing or anything. The only things is that the ride is a little rougher and I do hear a lot of road noise with those tires. They have, I think a 300 treadwear (means that they should last about 30-40k miles). I guess it's because it's a hard tire and not a soft one.

Hope that helps.

AP0718,

I am concerned about bottoming out. Do any of you with H&R bottom out on speed bumps or driveways? Thanks.

No, the factory shocks won't bottom out at all. Just don't go over the speed bumps at 20 mph and you should be alright. You will probably go slow, cause you don't want to mess up your 20's!!!
