whisle in car at 38mph.
hi; i get this whisling when the outside temperature hit the mid 40's. its not coming from any of the windows. when the temp. hits the mid 50's and higher you dont hear it. it seems like its coming from the rear floor area under the right passenger seat, but its hard to pin point it. i even had a long rubber hose trying to listen. i live in the boston area. last year the temp. drop to below zero for a week straight, and thats when it started. hope someone can help. thanks

could be one of the floor seals may have cracked. Some of them are rubber and some are plastic. Also could be the mounting point of the seat. the spot where the seat mounts to the floor goes all the way through. you may want to remove your passenger seat and see if there is anything stuck in there. But if its only at specific temps, probably a seal of sorts.

Could be the drain tubes for the moonroof (yes, the moonroof). They are in the rear wheel wells (which are right behind the rear seats), so maybe that's it. Sometimes they droop a little low in the wheel well and transmit wind noise into the cabin. I don't know why you would hear noise below a certain temperature if this were the problem, but it's worth taking a look. If they are hanging too low, you can lift them up from inside the trunk. Do a quick search and you'll find a thread I started about how to tie them up so they don't slip down too low. Hope this helps.

It could be missing drain hole plugs in your floor boards, which is an easy fix. Check this thread...https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=70515
