I think you have a problem with your Lexus dealer. I am in SoCal, with five Lexus dealerships within an hour of my house. The dealers have to compete for business, so the bend over backwards to keep you happy. I always get exceptional service.

My family has bought five cars from Lexus Carlsbad in the last eight years, not because we like the cars (which we do), but because we love the service.

If you are not getting the service you think you deserve, vote with your wallet and find a better dealer. Because ultimately, the service is a huge part of Lexus ownership.

Just my $.02

Hi, currently I have an SC3 but I'm selling it this weekend and I'm considering buying a GS300.

What are some common problems besides rattling and road noises?

It's between a GS300 or 2001 Acura CL-S ( I'm aware of the transmison problem). Which car do you guys think I should get?
If you think a GS rattle (which it doesn't and if it does, well some of the cars here ARE 7 years old) wait till u drive an Acura. Read any of the TL/CL forums for 2 minutes and that is one of their major complaints. You cannot sell a 35k car with all those features without sacrificing something, which was quality.

GS built in the award winning Tahara plant in Japan.
CL built in Ohio with the Accord.

Nuff said.
