kia the stock tires will work just fine my advise to you is start the car at least 10 minutes before driving to allow proper warm up tempature . also if possible try to keep the rock salt off your car

If you have stock 16's you should be ok, however if you have stock 17's with RE030 do NOT drive in the snow. You also do not really need to warm up the car for 10 minutes, I will let the car warm up for 5 minutes only when the temp is around -30 C, with a wind chill factor of - 50 C. Just my 2 cents..

My stocks are 16" so i guess i will throw them on as soon as i hear of snow! My boyfriend has a navi, so hopefully we will drive that instead on the lex, i'm thinking of getting a little car for the3 winter months just in case i have to go somewhere!

thanks

BTW: whats up with the warm up time........i heard once no warm up at all, another person said 5min, then 10min! Whats the standard?

everyone has a different take on it. Some people say no warmup time, some say 10min.....for me, it's when the heat gets warm in the car, the needle on my temp guage goes to half way and my remote start almost finishes it's cycle (10min)
