I think you will need a lot more LEDs for the red circle.

Just a safety precaution. The LED taillights I see here from the S-class and even the lowly corolla has a lot more LEDs in their taillight housing than the pics you showed us. Good idea though. Can't wait to see them finished.

yup, i think in order to reach the good effect, a lot of led are needed for the project. good luck!

more LED's arent the only case, but using LARGER LED's would make the outcome of this project significantly better. good progress tho lv2000..this is something everyone is interested in seeing!...keep it up

good work, make rows of leds...what size led are u using, 3mm (t1) or 5mm ( t1 3/4)? i wonder if u get them big ones how would it look. LV be our guinea pig

and oh yeah...how the heck did you open up the tails? i see a crack at the bottom of the picture so im wondering if you tried to pry it open or is this a scrap tailight that was damaged in an accident or somethin?
