Default electric seat adjustments

quick question anyone w/ a gs could answer. when sliding the seat back (pushing the button) if you try to adjust the angle at the same time the seat stops sliding back? does that make sense? in my older LS i could slide the seat back bushing the button, and at the same time lean the seat back pushing the other button, when i try this in the gs i can only do one at a time. i cant remember if ti was always like this or im just used to the LS, i know its not the most important thing, but i dont understand why they would take that feature away, especially on a newer model. any input, thanx.

i have endless back and sciatic pains from an auto accident and i constantly change the position of my seat....I ALWAYS change both at the same time and the seat still works. not sure if you have an older harness or whatnot but in my case it works...

well, that's the case for my car. funny thing though. for driver side, i canNOT adjust both front/back and the back together. as soon as i do both together the sliding stops i believe.

now take this. i tried the same thing on the pessenger side and it's perfectly fine. i am able to adjust both the front/back and the back of the seat at the same time. i have no idea why. wanna try that on your car?

i have 98 gs4

i have a 99gs4 and i have the same problem.
It gets on my nerves sometimes.
you would move the seat back and forward but not tilt at the same time.
or tilt but not forward or back at the same time.

on my 90LS i could move anyway i want at the same time.

well if the gs430 doesn't have this problem, at least we know that lexus found the problem and solved it?

to me it's definitely weird, but not like it's going to be annoy me. i hardly adjust my seat often (memory seat), so i just told myself it's ok and leave it
