Do you think your GS is a big car? One of my friends saw it and said he thought it was big. I never really thought of it as a large car.

I agree -- it's not big. My previous car was my wife's ES (it was handed down to me when she got the new MDX). Anyway, I believe the GS is an inch or so shorter than the ES. It just seems bigger.

When I traded my ES for the GS I also thought the car was a bit bigger in some way. Other's said it was big too.

In a nut shell, it has the "big look" but isn't really "big".

When I was first considering a GS for my next car, I had expected the interior to be huge. But after finally getting into one, it's actually not that big. Maybe the shape of the car has somthing to do with it. Also, there is the big hump going down the middle for our drive shaft that takes up some space.

After driving my wifes IS300, I thought the GS4 was huge when I first got it. Now it seems smaller for some reason, but then Im 6'3" so maybe its just me having the seat back a bit. With my daughters carseat in back, there isn't much room for much else, but she (my daughter) and I like it like that.

umm, interesting question. i am 5'7" and 150lb, and i think the car is just right, not too big and not small at all. to me the ls430 is a bit big but still very comfortable and "controllable"

my wife she's 5' and 80lb, and she thinks the gs is big but very comfortable. the ls430 is way too big, the sc430 is perfect, and the is300 is small

so if you ask me, i think the gs is really true to be a "medium size" sedan. if you talk about big, gosh, sit in the s class

The 2nd gen GS mimicked German 5 and E-class proportions. THe 1st gen was 194inches long. The 2nd gen is 189inches long with a longer wheelbase. The car has a "big body" look but is a perfect size, IMO. Not too big, not too small. Thich C-pillars add to a visual mass. The GS has hella presence.

Sadly, every car nowadays gets bigger and bigger every redesign. The 3rd gen GS like the E and 5 series did their best to stay pretty similar to current dimensions.

Has anyone ever checked out how some cars have grown.
The Camry, Atlima, Maxima, Accord come to mind. These cars are HUGE now.

My 8 year old son is 5' tall and 120 pounds. Not sure where he gets it from - he already weighs more than I did as a junior in HS.

Oh, I used to think my GS was a large car but it seems to be shrinking - or at least my perception.

And they are big the way most of us park them. I enjoy taking up at least 4 parking spots at work.

I think the GS is a "just the right size" car. right b4 this, I drove my mom's c-class. er.. that was small: but still managed to fit 4 petite size girls in the back seat and two in the trunk to sneak them out of school.

The GS is kinda cramped if there are five relatively "big" people you wish to haul. This is the car I usually take to the clubs if we are only a group of four.

My LS... er... now that's huge. We fit 6 medium sized people in the rear seat and two in the front seat. This is my "daily driver".
