Something DRAINING MY BATT
Hey guys i just noticed something is draining my battery...I really dont know what it is....Im guessing its the headlight switch b/c its not really working properly...But I notice how when I park the car for the night and come back in the morning, the battery barley has enough juice to start it....then once it runs and the alternater charges it back up then its fine....I dont have any aftermarket stereo or nothin, so i have no clue other than that switch...I do know once it sits for more than 7 hours it seems to be week... guys give me some advice please..?

Wow..I have the same problem with my battery draining. But mine is much slower. If I don't drive mine for a couple weeks, it's dead. Not even enough juice to crank. Thought it was the original battery going bad, so it was replaced with an Optima Yellow top after the factory batt died...same thing happening with the new batt also. Pretty irritating..everything is stock. The only other thing I had installed was a TEIN EDFC since this started............

you go out there in the morning and check the battery before you turn anything on and it feels warm, then that definately means that something is drawing quite a lot of power from it. I'd suggest taking it to the lexus dealership or any ASE master certified shop to check it out.

I had the same problems and drained twso batteries ( i have a ****load of audio in car).
i got hooked-up with Optima and the first battery drained after the car was idle for a month.
turns out the battery was not the exact one for Lexus GS.
They have since hooked-me up with some new Optimas that are the exact correct ones for GS and I'm running totally solid. No problems.
Not all Optima Yellow tops you pick up at audio shop are correct for GS. Make sure its exact fir for Lexus GS.
