you consider $8K HRE rims normal????

I can count on my hands how many sets of HRE rims I've seen in my entire life and HALF of them were on vettes

then again, doesn't pay to have them here in NYC, cuz if they don't get bent, someone will steal them or the whole car

haha ok, for the record my rims didnt' come close to 8k but anyway, the way i see, hre is getting more and more common. among lexus people it's still a bit rare i suppose, but if you talk about the whole population it's nothing to wow about anymore

If you look at the 840 series in 20 x 11 and 20 x 9, then add the cost of brushed centers, then add polished inner barrels with clear coat, the retail price will be over 9K. This is the exact set up I'm looking into so . . .

Of course no one pays retail right?

I was wondering when someone was going to mention Mikes(Manaray) car as a top 10. I would bet hes had the greatest influence on others thinking about "how" to tastefully mod their GS than any other member of this board. He set ALOT of CL members straight before they had a chance to "GHETTO" out their GS's.....

Right, that was my point. If I paid retail for my wheels, I'd be pretty close to that mark too, but phew, thank goodness for 2nd hand market.
